The English Wing houses the widow's flat of the English Princess and Landgravine Elizabeth of Hesse-Homburg (1770-1840) with elegant furnishings and neoclassical interior art from the first quarter of the 19th century.

The palace park of Bad Homburg was strongly influenced by the Landgraviate of Hesse-Homburg and the last German emperors and is one of the most important historical landscape gardens in Hessen.
