Renovation of the Palace Church
Bad Homburg Palace’s palace church is an excellent venue for concerts. It was built during the reconstruction of the palace complex in the years 1679-1686 by Landgrave Frederick II of Hesse-Homburg (1633-1708). Thanks to a comprehensive general renovation in 1989, the church is now a highly regarded venue for events. Nevertheless, concerts and the ravages of time have left their mark. In particular, the control of the heating system is getting on in years and needs technical modernisation. The interior with its wooden fixtures and panelling needs to be restored. There is also a need to maintain the historic Bürgy organ.
The total financial volume of these tasks amounts to about 250,000 euros. In order for this mammoth project to succeed, we, together with the Kuratorium Bad Homburger Schloss e. V., are dependent on your support.
