+++ Due to the closure of the Assmannshausen cable car, the loop tour is currently unavailable. Until further notice, Osteinschen Park can only be reached via the cable car from Rüdesheim, as well as via the parking lots at the Niederwald Hunting Lodge (western entrance) and the visitor center at the Niederwald Monument (eastern entrance). +++

Opening hours and directions

The forest and the monument are freely accessible all year round. You will find car parks at the Niederwalddenkmal and the Niederwald Jagdschloss.

The magic cave (Zauberhöhle) is open to visitors again.
