Offerings for Kindergarten Groups

During our activities for kindergarten groups at Münzenberg Castle, little listeners can make themselves comfortable and let their imaginations run wild. At the historic castle, they gain an insight into everyday life in the Middle Ages, learn how knights lived and can become knights themselves. The guided tour is playful and supported by a castle inhabitant, the Kuno the Cat.

Our team is looking forward to your visit with little castle explorers!

Kuno the Cat’s Treasure Hunt

Our offering for kindergarten groups focuses on playful exploration of Münzenberg Castle. During a tour with the castle guide, the individual components of a castle complex are discovered directly on site with the help of the castle mascot, Kuno the Cat. After the children’s tour, a treasure map is put together and perhaps even the castle treasure is found!

Knights’ school - a concept of movement

What did a squire have to learn to become a good and brave knight? And what are actually knightly virtues? In our “knight school”, the children playfully learn about the individual areas of the castle complex and what was important in being a knight. The focus is on trying things out, having fun and moving around. As a highlight, the pupils are knighted after passing their exams.

The tours can be booked from April to October.
